DANNY BLUE

Danny Blue is an Antwerp-based alternative indie-rock band that first formed in high school under the name Danny Blue and the Old Socks. Inspired by the eclectic indie rock of the 21st century, they gained attention with their EP Backyard Days (2017) and later released BOYS (2020), while playing many shows in different formations. As the members began exploring individual paths and with COVID adding pressure the band eventually went quiet.

Five years later, they return with the original four-piece lineup. Their music now balances reinvention with echoes of the past, blending shoegaze and grunge catharsis with indie-rock songwriting. By shortening their name to Danny Blue, they mark a new chapter while honoring their origins.

Their songs combine dreamy, gritty textures with catchy melodies, exploring personal stories, relationships, and the confusing times we live in. At its core, Danny Blue remains a testament to friendship, the driving force behind every note and every reinvention.
